Perseid in the Light

Clicking on the "Dark skies" link took me to a very informational site: http://stardate.org/nightsky/meteors/. It shows a list of meteor showers, the best date to view them, and the phase the moon will be in on that particular date. Meteor Shower

My friends and I laid on the beach from about 9:30 to 11:30. The sky was fairly cloudy when I first arrived. It covered up the moon so the stars appeared brighter. I personally only saw one metoer, however, my friends and saw a moving star that was far too high up to be an airplane. We think it may have been either a satellite or the space station obiting the Earth. All and all there were 3 meteors spotted from my group and one, I gues you could say, UFO.
